My social cognition book keeps banging on about imagining ‘African Americans’ for examples of stereotypes, which I suppose makes sense for me as I’m peely wally white, but if I was an African American reading this I may be inclined to think ‘can they not think of any other far reaching and easily accessible stereotypes?’ No?
